Thanks Eleanor
While taking notes in Mrs. Hansbury's history class, we acknowledged a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of the president at the the time, Theodore Roosevelt. She coaxed the president to seek equality between the races. The quote " No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" meant volumes to me and it opened my eyes to its truthiness. Inferiority is the result of a persons esteem, and depending on this esteem, will determine how one combats inferiority. For a person such as I, it is difficult to make me feel inferior because of my high self-esteem. I never look at myself as inferior, but instead, I look at myself as top eschelon.

I love this quote!!! I actually heard something similar in a movie by Tyler Perry. I also love the fact that you always think so highly of yourself. It’s very enlightening.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Eleanor quote goes as follows:
ReplyDelete"You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
