Laugh it up

When I'm feeling down in the dumps, and I'm not my vintage charismatic self, I resort to humor to alleviate me from my unfortunate feelings, whether it be anger, melancholy, irritation, aggravation, etc. I am a strong believer in laughter being the greatest therapy. Watching funny movies or stand up comedy, always makes me feel better. I also rely on my friends to make me laugh, and I love the people who can make you laugh even if you're not in the mood to. For example, one day during my sophmore year, I was really having a bad day. I didn't really talk to anyone, and I gave off this negative aura. I almost went through my whole day being in a bad mood until 8th period. Lindenwold alumni, Sydney Allen, who was my "frenemy", said something to me, and I showed her my attitude, and she said "What are you PMSing?"At that moment, I started to laugh because, for some odd reason, I thought that was humorous, and she really made my day so much smoother, so my advice to people is, when you're feeling down, laugh it up.
