This past Thursday, I went to 30 Strikes for my weekly sponsor visit. He was taking a call in his office when I arrived, so I waited outside patiently until he was finished. When he was finished, we greeted each other, and then we were greeted by a salesperson from a vending company. My sponsor told the guy his problems with apple vending, and how some of the arcade games weren't working properly. Also the mechanic that came in to fix one of the games seemed incompetent because he had not a clue how to fix the machine. They had a long conversation. Some of it was about business and some was leisure, but it was very interesting. After the intellectual conversation, my sponsor and I took a ride to pick up some trophies for the bowlers. On the way back he asked about my presentation. He told me I needed to get started on it, and I understood his constructive criticism. It was a very productive day.

Did the vendor give your sponsor any kind of sales pitch? If so, could you emulate it?
