Hey you might be gifted!

Many people perceive gifted students as those who get all A's, are at the top of their class, and are very well rounded. These are common misconceptions and myths, and it is not reliable to determine whether or not someone is gifted. The different types of Intelligence enables the possibility of determining a person who is gifted other than what they scored on their IQ test or any type of test that might not expose what you truly know. I believe that I'm among many gifted students whether they know it or not, and some people may argue that they aren't gifted because they are not common, but I disagree. I don't believe that everyone is gifeted but I do believe that giftedness can be acquired by anyone who has fortunate oppurtunities and surroundings. I believe that my senior project class is occupied with gifted students, whom have different type s of intelligences: Mike Peak is linguisticly  intelligent, Ron, Jigga, and Kyle have music intelligence, Rondel has bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, Quashelle and Nalea have interpersonal intelligence, and Marrisa has a naturalist intelligence.

  1. I think I'm with Peak. I'm a big fan of Gardner's and his multiple intellence proposition. The strange thing is how we blend various intellegences.

  2. I believe that a person can bring out their own gifts in their own way and those that excel have found that gift inside themselves ... others are still looking.
