Baila!!
Driven by egotistical impulses, I wanted to leave some kind of impact on this school before I graduate. Since I have this fear of being forgotten, I try to be as extraordinary as possible, which is the reason I try to be controversial, or maverick and a non-conformist. I thought creating a club would be a good way to leave some type of memory of me in the school, so I concocted the idea of creating an International Dance club. The purpose for the club is to teach the members a myriad of dances from a variety of different cultures, so that we can learn and have a new found respect for other customs and traditions. The club was recently approved, but my job does not end there. I still have to get a membership, so I have to find a way to advertise my product in a way. I can relate this to my project because as the founder of the newly established International Dance Club, I have the responsibility of putting things together, and making it run on all four cylinders. I have to act like this club is a business, and I'm the owner, the captain, El Jefe.

Wow! Starting a new club is very much like starting a business. Could this be parlayed into your presentation?
ReplyDeleteI’m more then impressed & I hope things work out well because dancing is another passion of mine and I always wanted a dance club in school. This could be an opportunity for us students to express ourselves being as though “The Man” suppresses us by wearing uniforms. Please let me know because I would LOVE to join or help you with the movement!
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the luck in the world on this endeavor of yours. A dance club sounds absolutely fantastic, and I always thought this school needed more art in it's extracurricular activities. I'd love to help you out, just call me if you need me.
