Senior Citizens Desert Extravaganza!

On Friday night of last week, I participated in one of the most fun and exhilarating events of the school year. This event is the Senior Citizens Desert Extravaganza, where we put on a show, and provide a desert buffet for the community, but it was mainly for the senior citizens. There are many factors that contributed to the success of that night. For month's it was like Ms. Porter was running a business, which I think she has some experience with. It was paramount that we organized and planned meticulously in order to have that night be a total success. Some of Ms. Porters' classess contributed to baking the deserts, making the invitations, and the drawing and painting of the decorations. We were coherced to work together assisdously to meet an objective. We had some errors and imperfections here and there, but for the most part, I think we were rolling on all cylinders when it came to preparing for that night. When the night of May the 6th came, and after all the preparations, the cafeteria looked like a euphoria that we just concocted out of nowhere, and I was proud that I was a part of that business.

  1. Making a connection to the senior banquet and promotimg a business is very appropriate. Carry the analogy with you! Are there elements of the banquet that you can incorporate into your presentation?
